today part 1

i slept in and didn’t leave bed until 230pm.

i continued to read marlon james’ “the book of night women” and struggle w/lilith and her coming to understand her experiences and life and power.

i then put my bedskirt on my bed which i took of over a year ago when r was still living w/me.

i finished cleaning my room. it smells like coconuts and i’m not ashamed to have folks enter it, but spending time cleaning and organizing my space, my bedroom where i do only very specific activities, makes me feel accomplished.

i then cleaned the bathroom, went through some stash’s of items and tossed what i do and don’t need (i know that percoset and vicodin and codeine are expired but i’m sure they still work for those days i’m in tons of pain w/my back/disability since i dont have health insurance i hold on to them).

i scrubbed my tub and toilet but the tub still looks stained. this i don’t appreciate w/the varnish of old school tubs. it’s nice to have a spot that i know is clean and the way i want it to be. i have these two soaps that are in the shape of a booty and a vulva a gift from my jew jenny.

i went back into bed and read more of my book. i went to get milk to make biscuits tomorrow morning. i painted my nails a fun dark silver glitter color w/a black glitter tip on the edges all by myself!
